Terms of Service
Effective date: September 15, 2026
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of WIK, including our mobile applications, websites, features, content and related services (collectively, the “Service”). In these Terms, “WIK”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the WIK service.
By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use WIK
You must be at least 13 years old to use WIK. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age or consent from a parent or legal guardian, that higher age or consent requirement applies. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so or if we previously disabled your account for a serious or repeated violation of these Terms.
2. Your account
- Provide accurate and current registration information.
- Keep your login credentials and devices secure.
- Do not sell, transfer, share or lend your account.
- Tell us promptly at contact@wiklearn.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where the law provides otherwise.
You may sign in using an approved third-party authentication provider. Your use of that provider is also governed by its terms and privacy practices.
3. The Service
WIK is a learning and community platform. Depending on availability and your account, the Service may let you create a profile; publish or save learning content; upload notes, images, documents, audio or video; follow and interact with people; send messages; make audio or video calls; organize goals and tasks; and use AI-assisted features.
Features may change, be unavailable in some locations, or require compatible devices, internet access or additional terms. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.
4. Your content
“User Content” means content you submit, upload, create, send or make available through the Service, including profile information, posts, notes, videos, comments, messages, files, voice messages, reports, AI prompts and feedback.
You keep any ownership rights you have in your User Content. You give WIK a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical formatting, transmit and display your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain and improve the Service and to make it available according to your settings. This licence ends when the relevant content is deleted from our systems, subject to reasonable backup, legal, safety and technical retention and content already shared with or copied by others.
You represent and warrant that:
- you own your User Content or have all rights and permissions needed to submit it;
- your User Content and our permitted use of it do not violate law, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property or other rights; and
- you will respect the audience and visibility controls shown in the Service.
Public content may be viewed, copied, reshared or captured by other people. Do not publish information you want to keep confidential.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use WIK to:
- break any law or encourage unlawful, fraudulent or dangerous conduct;
- harass, bully, threaten, stalk, shame or abuse another person;
- promote hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics;
- post sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, sexual content involving minors, or content that grooms or endangers a child;
- encourage self-harm, suicide, eating disorders or other serious physical harm;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, affiliation or qualifications;
- share another person's private or confidential information without authorization;
- infringe copyright, trade marks or other intellectual-property rights;
- send spam, scams, malware, unwanted promotions or repetitive messages;
- record or distribute a private message, audio call or video call without all legally required consent;
- scrape, harvest or collect data from the Service without our written permission;
- probe, disable, bypass or interfere with security, rate limits, moderation or access controls;
- reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- misuse reporting, appeals or support systems.
6. Child safety
WIK has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Never create, upload, request, share, store or promote child sexual abuse material; groom a minor; sexualize a minor; facilitate trafficking; or otherwise exploit or endanger a child. We may preserve relevant information, remove content, restrict or terminate accounts, and report apparent violations to competent authorities or child-safety organizations when required or permitted by law.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. To report a child-safety concern to WIK, use the in-app reporting tools or contact contact@wiklearn.com. Our published child-safety standards are available at https://wiklearn.com/child-safety-standards.
7. Reporting, blocking and moderation
You can use the available in-app tools to report content, users or AI output and to block users. We may review content, account information and relevant activity; limit visibility or features; remove content; issue warnings; or suspend or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law or reduce risk to WIK or others.
We are not required to pre-screen all content and cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be detected immediately. To appeal an enforcement decision, contact contact@wiklearn.com and include the account and decision details. We may decline abusive, duplicative or legally prohibited requests.
8. Messages and calls
Messages and calls are provided for communication between users. You are responsible for deciding whom to contact and what to share. WIK is not an emergency communication service, and audio or video calls cannot be used to contact emergency services. Call quality and availability depend on network, device and third-party service conditions.
9. AI-assisted features
AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, offensive or unsuitable for your situation. It is provided for general learning and assistance and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, mental-health or safety advice. Verify important information using reliable sources and qualified professionals before acting on it.
Do not submit confidential information or personal data you are not authorized to use. You remain responsible for how you use AI output. You may report problematic output through the in-app report control. Rights in AI inputs and outputs may depend on applicable law and third-party rights; WIK does not guarantee that output is unique or eligible for intellectual-property protection.
10. WIK content and intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, design and content supplied by WIK, is owned by or licensed to WIK and is protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
If you believe content on WIK infringes your intellectual-property rights, contact contact@wiklearn.com with identification of the protected work, the content at issue, your contact information, a good-faith statement and any other information required by applicable law.
11. Paid features
Some WIK features may be offered as part of a paid subscription. Users with an active subscription can access applicable premium benefits after signing in. Prices, renewal terms, cancellation options and refunds are presented and managed through the service or payment provider where the subscription was purchased. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
12. Third-party services and links
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. WIK does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, security, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
13. Account suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using WIK at any time. You may request account deletion through the in-app account settings or at https://wiklearn.com/delete-account. After you verify the request, access and direct account identifiers are removed immediately. The request is irreversible. The account and associated data are permanently deleted from WIK's active systems within 30 days; protected backup copies may take up to 90 days to expire. Our Privacy Policy explains the limited legal, security and fraud-prevention exceptions.
We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, legal requirements, security threats, harm to users, or risk to the Service. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to appeal, but we may act immediately when necessary to protect people, evidence or the Service.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. WIK disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. WIK does not endorse or guarantee User Content, learning outcomes, advice, credentials, relationships or transactions between users.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WIK and its directors, employees and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from or related to the Service. WIK's total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for WIK subscriptions or paid features during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer rights.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law or our practices. We will post the updated Terms and revise the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required. Your continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept them, except where the law requires another form of consent.
17. General terms
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to applicable law. These Terms and any additional terms presented for a feature form the agreement between you and WIK about the Service.
